Karabela sabre
A warhammer, or nadjak, consists of a head shaped like a parrot’s, eagle’s or raven’s beak, and a handle. This weapon, wielded with both hands in a swinging motion, was constructed from various materials such as lead, bronze and sometimes iron and steel, for greater firmness.
The warhammer was carried hung from the saddle or attached or hooked onto a belt. It came into use in the 14th century when cavalry and infantry could no longer use swords and spears in close combat due to their inefectiveness against a heavily armored enemy.
