Festive hall of the Papalic palace
The great hall on the first floor (piano nobile) was accessed through an ornamented door at the top of the staircase. The inscription with the coat of arms reads: HAEC QVIBVS IANCI CVI FORTVNA FAVEBIT, meaning: John, who is this for? For him who is favoured by Fate! Or Who is this door for? For him who has luck?
